A couple of friends from the American Legion went there with me for a meal and I had the ribs which were fantastic, the sauce was wonderful and the ribs just fell apart. Another friend had the lasagna and it was a huge portion and he said it was fantabulous. About three weeks later my wife wanted a hamburger so I went to pick it up and brought it home. I asked for it on the rare side of medium rare because usually by the time you get them home, they're overdone, but this was cooked perfectly. My wife is a little picky, but she really loved it. Both times the service was very good and friendly. They have a huge menu, but they don't have a printed copy to give you. Sampson's has been around for a long time, I haven't been there in a while, but I can tell you my recent experiences have been great, and I highly recommend them.

We were looking for someone 'no rest stop food' along I-90. This added only 4 minutes to our trip, so we tried it. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Food was excellent diner food. My fried Zucchinis sticks and my wifes fish and chips were piping hot, crispy, not in the least oily. This will become our go to spot on our travels through there!

This place is always busy. Good good, good prices on food and drinks. Karaoke on Saturday nights. Lots of TVs with sports and OTB.

Hey, local hometown bar with good food, friendly people and good service. What more can you ask for from a local establishment? Maybe some interesting karaoke with some good singers. I always enjoy myself when I stop in for some food and beverage.

As you walk in you feel like home. A warm comfortable, local hang out with good entree specials and incredible soup. Usually there is 3 different soup options available daily for $3.99 a bowl. The creamy reuben soup is one of those delicious specialties. Today they had a pot roast entree special for $6.75 (open face on white bread) with gravy, mashed potatoes (homemade) and canned green beans with garlic and butter. I've been here numerous times and you can't miss by ordering the soup. Some of the other entrees on the menu are good but lack flavor/herbs such as the chicken parmesan. The prices are good and they have usually good beer on tap if your looking for that. The service is fast and you get a well rounded meal without breaking the bank.
